Singer, Songwriter, and Instrumentalist Ban Hatton is a Virginia native musician that is currently self-promoted, self-managed, and self-propelled. Having an accomplished performance history on several instruments throughout grade school and college, Ban draws from a wide array of experiences and genres to create a sound intended to make people feel at home, all the while pushing musical boundaries here in Richmond, Virginia. The Self-Released full length album “Walls” was released in the summer of 2015, and was met with a wave of positive and encouraging reactions from both local and national stations and publications. Hatton performs within a relatively wide array of musical qualities, blending the sounds and styles of Americana, Alt-Country, and Folk music, with his extensive and vivid lyrics, in an effort to form a sound that is all his own. Compared to artists such as Tom Petty, Jeff Tweedy, and Bob Dylan, Ban has found a niche and continues to polish his unique style. Stay tuned for news and updates on his second full length album release.
